Gloria está ajustando el vestido de chulapa de su nieta Isa para las fiestas de San Isidro. La adolescente ha crecido y el vestido le queda demasiado pequeño. Aunque hace años que Gloria dejó de asistir a las fiestas, al dar la primera puntada para ajustar el vestido de su nieta, se da cuenta de que ya nunca más podrá vestirlo.
